It was March 1, 1985, when Danny Greer kicked off his new company Machine Tool Technology & Sales, or MTTS, Inc.
Danny had already been a successful machine tool salesman in Houston, Texas when he saw the emergence of high technology CAM systems as the real future of manufacturing. Armed with his sales experience plus years on the shop floor, he set out to become a major force in that industry.
He was joined by Bret Porter in 1987, a top CNC Applications Engineer with major machine tool companies. Bret is the head of training and support at MTTS and is a highly respected "Code Guru" in the CAM business.
Country's First ESPRIT Reseller
In 1994, DP Technology - the developer of ESPRIT CAM software - decided to extend their marketing through Value-Added Resellers. MTTS was the USA's first ESPRIT reseller signed on.
Being the first means that MTTS and ESPRIT grew the technology together. Today, MTTS specializes in sales, training and support for "The most powerful CAM software ever."
MTTS also offers a full range of CAD/CAM software products, training, support, and customization.
